Access control systems allow businesses to selectively restrict who can access a building, room or resource at what times. Electronic card access replaces traditional locks with electronic card readers that unlock the door when authorized cards are swiped. The card readers can be pre-programmed to keep doors locked during business hours, automatically lock at closing time, and even allows you to select which employees have after-hours access. When an employee leaves the organization, their specific key card can be deauthorized without affecting other cards.
